The North America Region is composed by Maccaferri US (turnover around 28ML$, HQ based in Rockville-MD and the manufacturing plant in Williamsport-MD and Maccaferri Canada (turnover around 10ML$, HQ based in Cambridge-ON).


The TMM is directly reporting to the North America TMM.


He/She is responsible for the South East, Puerto Rico and Island area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Technical Marketing Manager will lead the promotional activity for our solutions with the owners and civil/ geotechnical consulting engineers. In this civil construction/ infrastructure market, example owners include Federal and State DOTs, US Army Corps of Engineers, National Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), municipalities, and various private owners.  The consulting engineers are often those responsible for generating the project plans and specifications necessary to build the related civil works.  Here, the TMM will work across our composite organization to educate owners and consultants on the realized benefits of our solutions.  The TMM would provide preliminary design information, specifications, details, generated software results, and overall recommendations of Maccaferri solutions for construction projects.  The TMM must be a technical expert and able to clearly articulate the technical differentiators and proofs of the engineered solution being recommended;


  • The TMM will be responsible for researching the market and developing corporate strategy to be filtered throughout the organization in individual business plans. The TMM will be responsible for the overall effectiveness of the strategic plan and related initiatives;


  • In our composite organization and with the assistance of the Sales and Design Teams, this individual is keenly responsible for the following:

Risk:  This individual is responsible for proactive effort related to our reduction of risk in the marketplace.  Recognizing that although it is impossible to eliminate risk, it is essential to limit risk.

Pipeline:  Responsible for generating pipeline related to planning and preliminary design projects.  Here, provided early involvement in the project lifecycle, Maccaferri has a strong probability for success.

People:  Responsible for creating and conducting training content to elevate the overall aptitude and effectiveness of the sales organization.  This will improve our credibility in the marketplace and involvement on key projects.

Planning:  Responsible for formulating initiatives which support of corporate strategy in order to harmonize our overall effort on the areas which will result in the biggest positive impact.



Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct presentations to technical audiences to communicate the key benefits of our solutions.
  • Support product launch activities including training, marketing collateral, technical proof statements, data sheets, etc.
  • Be responsible with the team to guarantee the success for the Company for taking part into Tradeshows, Conferences, Industry Committees, etc.
  • Create, update, coordinate and present marketing collateral that includes technical presentations, brochures, samples.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, assist with Technical Request for Proposals (RFP’s), collaborate and help lead a cross-functional team of Sales Engineers and Marketing professionals.
  • Evaluate and account for competitive activities including products, designs, and strategies.
  • Analyze market data to understand the needs and preferences of customers and the civil construction industry which we serve.


  • Master degree in civil / environmental engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar field
  • Available for travelling 30% of time
  • Office, autocad
  • Strong Teambuilding and problem solving attitude
  • Spanish can be a plus


Locations for selection: Atlanta (Georgia) or Florida
