    The North America Region is composed by Maccaferri US (turnover around 28ML$, HQ based in Rockville-MD and the manufacturing plant in Williamsport-MD) and Maccaferri Canada (turnover around 10ML$, HQ based in Cambridge-ON).


    The suitable candidate will work as Finance Business Partner being responsible for the overall Financial Management and Controlling (Financial Planning, Analysis, Treasury Management and Legal, Tax / TP Compliances) activities in US and Canada (2 Locations).

    Reporting to the Corporate CFO Headquarter, the suitable candidate will be the contact person for the following activities:

    • Sales Reporting;
    • Treasury;
    • OPEX & CAPEX;
    • Financial Expenses;
    • Research of Financing Sources - Relationship with Banks Institutions;
    • Working Capital (Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Account Payables) and other Balance Sheet Items;
    • Consolidated P&L Reporting;
    • Net Financial Position Reporting;
    • Budget & Forecast Oversight;
    • Monthly Closing Oversight;
    • Analyzing Financial Data by understanding and correcting any deviation;
    • Compliance with statutory regulations and group procedures;
    • Maintenance and management of the Incentive Program for Sales force (S.I.P).


    At the same time, the suitable candidate will also has to:

    • Facilitate strategic planning and growth processes. Implement Financial systems that meet the needs of a growing organization;
    • Implement a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and support to the operations department;
    • Play an active role in cross - function problem solving;
    • Mentor and develop a talented finance team: manage work allocation, coach and training, conduct regular performance evaluation and build an effective team dynamic;
    • Manage directly the industrial controlling and the related reporting;
    • Supervise legal matters coordinating external consultants.


    The suitable candidate has the following requirements:

    • Proactive and problem solving approach;
    • Degree in Economics, Accounting or comparable academic degree;
    • At least 5 years of experience in controlling or auditing activities, possibly in industrial or constructions organizations;
    • An advanced level of SAP (FI/CO) - Experience in managing SOP implementation is preferred, Knowledge of other SAP modules (MM and PP) is a plus;
    • Relevant experience in budgeting & controlling;
    • Relevant experience in internal auditing and SAP implementation;
    • Excellent knowledge of Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point);
    • Excellent English knowledge, both written and spoken;
    • Availability to travel in and out the US (about once every two months a business trip to Canada is required).
