    The Contract manager, reporting to the Project Manager, will be responsible for the right interpretation and management of contracts either with the Client and with the subcontractors.

    In detail he/she will:

    • Provide guidance and support to the Project Manager and related functions about contractual matters, either for the Client side (contracts progress, terms, controversy, …) and with the subcontractors side (claims, acceptance, …)
    • Manage contracts in terms of right implementation of administrative and contractual duties, meeting the specific contractual requirements of the project
    • Prepare and negotiate claims request, evaluating with the PM the additional costs
    • Manage contractual issues with the Client and subcontractors
    • Manage relationship with lawyers
    • Manage the communication flows with the parties
    • Collaborate to prepare and update the reporting

    The position is also collaborate for contract close out, ensuring all deliverables (e.g. drawings, documents, data, calculations, soft/firm-ware, code, spares, import/export & shipping documents, etc) required from contractors are identified in a close-out schedule and confirmation of receipt/ownership of all deliverables (or otherwise) is obtained prior to obtaining authority to negotiate and/or formalise settlement.
    Capability to undertake the close-out of individual contracts by preparation of a final account and a close-out report


    • Engineering degree or similar. Other degree will be considered if significant experience in the role can be demonstrated;
    • Mininum 7 years of experience in a similar role for EPC Contractors or Construction companies;

    • Fluent in English;
    • Very good knowledge for contractual process;

    • Very good knowledge and experience in construction process for complex projects;
    • Understanding commercial risks and management of risk management and review process;
    • Very good knowledge in Contract Administrations and Claims preparation;
    • Availability to travel with over-nights required (MANDATORY);
