Responsibilities

The Sales Representative, reporting to the Manifatture Sigaro Toscano Country Manager, has the main goal to develop the company business in the assigned area, by furthering the brand awareness and consideration, by increasing volumes and revenues in the New England Area (ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT).

The main activities are:

  • building the distribution in the Tobacco shops, with a focus on the Premium Cigar Outlets
  • training the Shop people on the story, the quality and the distinctiveness of TOSCANO® cigar
  • getting the best visibility in the shops by using all available merchandising materials
  • being TOSCANO® cigar ambassador by arranging periodically events in the main tobacco shop

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Stimulate sales throughout prospecting, visiting and networking tobacco shops, independent accounts, small chains and local distributors
  • Introduce products into the Market
  • Develop and implement the trade activities in line with the Marketing Plan
  • Send the collected orders to the Distributor and check the regular delivery
  • Support the Distributor in handling the receivables
  • Perform against a set of monthly/quarterly KPIs
  • Conduct Trade Education, Customer Training and Ambassadorship Events
  • Provide the Line Manager and the Company Marketing team with constructive feedback.

 

Qualifications

Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills          

  • 4+ years sales experience in cigar industry is mandatory
  • Knowledge of the assigned market
  • Ability to create professional networks with new partners and clients
  • Good knowledge of Excel and main IT tools to support the business
